About

I believe we live in a beautiful, broken world. We can stand in the presence of such joy and life in a moment and in the next, we can bear witness to the countless micro and macro interactions between and among the inhabitants of this earth causing irrevocable harm and destruction. I believe that Godsought and continues to seek to interrupt the patterns of destruction at work in humanity with the presence and power of Jesus Christ who came to us to reform our thinking, our doing–our being. Christ came that what functioned in part–or dysfunctioned in part–might be renewed and made whole. As such, this blog is dedicated to speaking love to the pain of the brokenness in our world in hopes that what has been damaged may once again be whole. Iaomai is a Greek verb that means “to heal” and in a word, healing is what Jesus means and what I have committed this digital space to exploring.
